Abstract
The degenerated four wave mixing (FWM) and the degenerated optical parametric amplifying (OPA) process near the zero dispersion are analyzed in this article. The gain bandwidth in OPA is about 35 nm. There is a dispersion threshold Dth in FWM which is not critically zero, but slightly positive about 10-3 ps/nm.km.
