Abstract
This paper is concerned with the presentation of an image analysis system based on an extension of two mathematical theories : the general topology theory and the set theory. By this way, we obtain appropriate tools for representing and analysing digitized images as particular subsets of discrete spaces on which usual concepts such as topology are somewhat inadequate. The first version of the system is presented and illustrated on an example.
