Abstract
Nowadays, bridge design is completed by bridge software, but the process of bridge software modelling is very cumbersome and heavy workload. Using the elastic foundation beam algorithm, this paper deduces the internal force calculation formulas of strut, beam, suspender and arch rib of half through arch bridge under the condition of considering self weight. When designing half through arch bridge, the results can be obtained quickly by applying the formula in this paper. The algorithm can check each other with the bridge software algorithm. Using this algorithm for calculation in the project pre-evaluation stage can highlight its fast advantage.
