Abstract
In this paper, CT images of three typical gradated mixtures in the Superpave test section were processed by digital image technology, and a finite element model considering microstructure and nonuniformity was established. Based on the finite element analysis and calculation of the ring tensile crack experiment, a virtual simulation model is preliminarily realized to predict the overall mechanical properties of the specimen while considering the microstructure, which plays a positive role in the design and evaluation of the virtual simulation model in the future.
