Abstract
Large-scale activity travel has the particularity of demand surge, balance and emergency superposition, and the existing methods do not have the ability of traffic demand perception and prediction when large traffic influx. In order to provide support for the transportation demand estimation of various groups of large-scale events at the macro level, it is necessary to analyze and study the travel mechanism of large-scale events at the micro level. Therefore, starting from the activity-based prediction method, this paper selects individual and companion attributes and origin attributes as external variables, and travel chain and choice of travel mode as internal variables. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to establish the relationship between various influencing factors and travel chain and travel mode choice of large-scale activities, and an empirical analysis was carried out with the Winter Olympics travel survey as an example. The results of this study are of great significance to further formulate the transportation organization plan during large-scale activities and ensure the smooth development of large-scale activities.
