Abstract
By using the computer algebra system, the formulas of Mercator and transverse Mercator projection are weighted and combined according to certain proportional coefficients, and a new combined projection method is obtained. Taking China as an example, the influence of different scale coefficients on combined projection deformation is investigated. Through comparative analysis, the weighted combination coefficient suitable for China region with minimum projection deformation is obtained. The combined projection not only keeps the original equiangular property, but also reduces the projection deformation to a certain extent.
