Abstract
According to the theory of dielectric antennas, a dielectric antenna based on low dielectric constant materials is studied in this article. On this foundation, a new kind of antenna array with low dielectric constant is prepared, which includes 16 independent dielectric antenna units. The results prove that the antenna array size is not greater than 60mm*240mm*240mm, the operating frequency is 3GHz, the gain could reach 16dBi, the 3dB bandwidth is 21.6 degrees and the return loss shall not exceed -10dB. The antenna array has a smaller size and excellent electrical performance, while the material is cheap and the structure is simple and easy to process. It is of great significance for the large-scale promotion and application of this type of antenna array.
