Abstract
White LEDs with high color rendering are essential in certain color critical lighting applications. However, developing white LEDs with wide spectrum and high color rendering are still a serious challenge. White LEDs with a color temperature of 3000-5000 K are experimentally prepared, with a color rendering index of over 92. The spectrums are continuous in the visible light range, and the luminous efficiency can reach 120lm/W at a working current of 60mA.Based on the mixture of these full-spectrum white LEDs, three full-spectrum white LED samples of different color temperature (3000 K, 4000 K and 5000 K) were mixed. The dimming effect was analyzed by changing with forward current and different combinations. The results showed that the luminous efficacy could be guaranteed to be over 100lm/w and the color rendering index was 92 to 97.
