Abstract
With the intelligentization of urban construction in our country, the use of modern technology and information communication technology to enhance the sustainable development of urban construction, smart manhole covers have gradually gained widespread attention. This article mainly discusses the design and implementation of smart manhole covers. Intelligent management of manhole covers can achieve functions such as remote monitoring, real-time data feedback, and real-time data analysis. By designing the STM32 microcontroller, sensor, and NB-IoT module for smart manhole covers and implementing remote monitoring on the OneNET cloud platform, this article demonstrates that the design can achieve real-time monitoring of manhole cover status and timely response, ensuring that manhole covers on city roads are in normal condition. It also improves the maintenance efficiency of manhole covers and prevents traffic accidents, as evidenced by experimental results.
