Abstract
The magnetic anisotropy constant of magnetic fluids is obtained from the angular dependence of the magnetic resonance field. The sample was frozen below room temperature under the action of a steady magnetic field of 1.45 Tesla. Magnetic anisotropy of the order of -5.4 X 104 erg/cm3 at 150 K and -5.1 X 104 erg/cm3 at 200 K was obtained for a water-based MnFe2O4 magnetic fluid sample with average particle diameter of 10.7 nm.
