Abstract
This article presents the construction and measurement results for parallel and serial networks of fibre threshold sensors used to measure pressure, liquid level, temperature and smoke concentration. The measurement heads in the applied sensors take advantage of the following phenomena: bending loss, disturbance in the total internal reflection and transmission changes in the fibre couplings.
