Abstract
An improvement of Extended Hata model which considers the detailed terrain profile is presented in the paper. And the methods to provide the predictions of the obstructions' attenuations on the propagation path are carefully analyzed. This project investigates the radio wave propagation at 2.4GHz over irregular terrain with clutter information at a suburban area. The propagation model developed in this project is valid within the frequency range from 2000MHz to 3000MHz.
