Proceedings for SPIE Conference Attendees
When do conference proceedings become available?
Conference proceedings, including papers, recorded presentations, and posters, begin to be published on the SPIE Digital Library about two to three weeks after the conference has concluded. Most proceedings are published within four to six weeks after a conference. Conference attendees will be notified by email when the majority of the proceedings are published. Please remember to check back periodically to view newly published proceedings.
How do I access proceedings from the conference that I attended?
2022 and later:
As of 2022, conference registration now includes 50 download tokens that will be added to your SPIE Digital Library user account. The download tokens can be used to access proceedings (papers, recorded presentations, and posters) from the particular conference that you attended. When you attempt to download a PDF or view a recorded presentation on the SPIE Digital Library, you will be prompted to sign in and redeem a download token.
To view your download history and a count of available downloads, sign in to the SPIE Digital Library, click My Account, then click Subscriptions and Downloads.
Prior to 2022:
Prior to 2022, conference registration included access to all proceedings in a single proceedings volume of your choice. Access to your selected conference proceedings is available on the SPIE Digital Library when you sign in with your SPIE login credentials. To view the proceedings volumes that are available to you, sign in to the SPIE Digital Library, click My Account, then click My Conference Proceedings.
A note about proceedings access:
Proceedings papers and posters can either be read online or individually downloaded in PDF format and saved locally. Recorded conference presentations can be viewed within the embedded video player on the SPIE Digital Library, but they cannot be downloaded and saved locally.
What is the "My Conference Proceedings" section of my account?
NOTE: The information below is applicable for SPIE conferences held prior to 2022. As of 2022, conference registration now includes 50 download tokens, rather than access to a single proceedings volume.
Prior to 2022, when you registered for an SPIE conference, you selected online access to a single proceedings volume (basic registration) or to a collection of multiple topically-related proceedings volumes (registration upgrade). When you sign in to the SPIE Digital Library and navigate to the My Account menu, the My Conference Proceedings page will include links to the proceeding volume(s) that you selected as a part of your conference registration.
Attendees may purchase online access to proceeding volumes beyond those that they selected during registration; to do so, please contact: customerservice@spie.org
