Alberto Hernández Fernández holds a BSc and MSc in Industrial Engineering (major in Electrical Engineering) from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). He works as electronic engineer at the Electronics Department of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC). He has been involved in several projects such as GRANTECAN Adaptive Optics (GTCAO) or LGS. He is currently a member of the FPGA group in the Electronics Department. He is presently developing a high performance embedded data acquisition system for frequency multiplexed MKIDs readout. His main interests include hardware design, digital design, FPGAs, SoCs and digital signal processing systems.
