Simulation and experimental study on axial rotation of DF chemical laser exhaust gas

In the DF chemical laser exhaust gas treatment system based on cryosorption, laser exhaust gas axial rotation scheme can effectively improve the compactness of the system. The scheme consists of a diffuser, a heat exchanger and a deflector. The exhaust gas flows along the diffuser and enters the heat exchanger. After cooling down, it flows along the guide part and is adsorbed after axial rotation 180 degrees. In this paper, the rotation scheme is numerically simulated and experimentally studied. In the simulation results, the static pressure of the supersonic diffuser is less than 1.4kPa when the laser is running, the pressure loss and exhaust heat transfer meet the one-dimensional calculation value, and the flow rate at the gap after diversion is greater than 75%. In the experimental study, the pressure of the excitation cavity is less than 2.0kPa, the conduction effect and flow distribution effect of the exhaust rotation scheme meet the test requirements. The numerical simulation is consistent with the experimental results, which shows that the axial rotation scheme of the exhaust gas is effective, and the internal flow of the reaction chemical laser adsorption system can be better by flow field simulation.
