This talk focuses on a new paradigm for dynamic reconfiguring arbitrary output wavefronts using control systems with the same degrees of freedom. A fast beam steering technology based on reconfigurable metasurfaces driven by an in-plane two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) mechanical actuation system will be demonstrated, which measured a 6-kHz modulation speed and a "±65.6° " field of view. Finally, its applications in lidar and scan imaging will be discussed with the primary results.
