Over 15 years of experience in development of advanced nanotechnologies in topics of micro/nanofabrication, biointerfaces, nanooptics and functional integration of engineered nanostructures within optical and electronic devices including light emitting diodes, flash memories, plasmonic devices and nanobiosensors. Has served for several years within technology development environments, and actively led research, development and translation of fundamental research work to practical settings. His current responsibilities include scientific, technical, strategic and managerial leadership, of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural research team at the materials research and technology department at Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology.
