Abstract
Computer vision-based methods have been extensively used in vibration measurement of engineering structures in recent years. However, vibration testing of engineering structures usually requires both the high accuracy for low displacement and robustness of the modal test, which is difficult for most vision-based methods. In the current work, we propose a vibration displacement extraction method based on point tracking, Tracking-Detection-Deformation Matching (TDDM), which combines the advantages of both the detection and tracking. Firstly, TDDM used the tracking method to obtain the initial local motion region; Then, the tracking error in the local region was corrected by the detection method; Finally, based on the correction result, the local deformation matching was designed to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of low displacement. The effectiveness of the TDDM tracking algorithm is verified by vibration experiments of Bench-scale building structures. The experimental results demonstrate the robustness and high accuracy of the proposed method in structural vibration measurement.
