Abstract
The road transportation system is an important part of lifeline engineering and plays a vital role in supporting and guaranteeing the post-earthquake rescue and disaster reconstruction process. Mountainous cities in southwest China are earthquake-prone areas. The earthquake-induced fault misalignment, landslide and collapse cause severe damage to the transportation system, so the emergency preparedness of the transportation system is the top priority for earthquake defense. This paper constructs a disaster scenario model of road traffic networks in mountainous cities through seismic damage assessment and landslide hazard assessment of road traffic infrastructure to provide a reference basis for emergency capability assessment and emergency defense planning.
