Abstract
Collect relevant information on China's container shipping routes, count the connections of 47 Chinese container ports, build an undirected and unauthorised China container port network, analyze the port importance of China's container port network by using the node contraction method, and evaluate the status of each port in the port network. The results show that Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Qingdao, Ningbo Zhoushan and other ports are hub ports in the port network, and the node contraction method can effectively evaluate the location advantages of ports in the network.
