Abstract
According to the manufacturing characteristics of diamond rollers, the key technologies of diamond rollers' feature information extraction, feature machining scheme decision-making and NUMERICAL control program post-processing were studied. The latest product model data exchange standard STEP AP 242 was adopted to realize the extraction of diamond rollers' manufacturing feature information. The 3d model of diamond roller is used as the carrier of manufacturing information by integrating product model data exchange standard and product data management. The integrated system of CAD/CAPP/CAM/PDM for diamond rollers is developed on SolidWorks and Aras Innovator platform, and is verified by examples.
