Abstract
Complex numbers play a fundamental role in a variety of research fields. In this paper, we first review the basic knowledge of complex numbers. To understand complex numbers better, we begin the introduction of complex numbers with coordination pairs. Then, we show that there is no mathematical order that can be defined on the set of complex numbers. We elaborate on both algebraic and geometric structures of complex numbers. We give two elegant results proved by invoking properties of complex numbers. At last, we give detailed proof of a beautiful inequality.
