Abstract
Copper lasers have progressed to the point where they are no longer simple research tools but are now entering the industrial arena. The high average power and high efficiency of these lasers is coupled with low running costs and improved reliability making them the laser of choice for several industrial applications. The key parameters of copper lasers are discussed along with their main industrial applications.
