Abstract
The LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) ship’s mooring is a crucial component of the maritime works. The mooring line is the ropes or chains that keep a boat from moving away from a particular place. And the mooring line tension is the key issue to the ship’s mooring. A series of experimental model with difference impact factors were conducted and the results show that under the condition of the berth arrangement, wind, current, waves (different wave directions, height, period), water level, draft of ship (full load, ballast) etc., the effect of the LNG ship on the mooring facilities was determined.
