Abstract
To improve the service performance and life of the pavement, the influence of the compaction degree of semi-flexible pavement materials on the pavement quality was studied. Taking semi-flexible pavement materials as the research object, the research on compaction characteristics in plateau environment is carried out, the formation mechanism of the strength of semi-flexible pavement materials is studied based on the Moore-Coulomb theory, and the unconfined compressive strength and porosity tests are carried out by the orthogonal test method. The test results show that the compressive strength and porosity of the number of compaction simulations have high significance. The compressive strength increases first and then decreases with the number of compaction simulations. The peak value reaches 2.98MPa when the number of compactions is 140 times. The overall change in the number of compaction simulations showed a downward trend, and the compressive strength first increased and then decreased with the compaction density, and the density reached a peak value of 92.69% (the void ratio was 7.24%). This research can provide a basis for the calculation of the material compaction work at low temperatures and the determination of the process parameters of the road roller.
