Abstract
Automotive seat adjuster bracket is one of the key components of the automotive seat angle adjuster. The formability of the adjuster bracket directly affects the function of the seat adjuster and the comfort of the seat. In view of the low efficiency of Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) and the poor position accuracy caused by a large number of simple dies in stamping forming, a set of multi-position progressive dies is selected to form the adjuster bracket with high efficiency and high precision. It mainly completes the determination of the process scheme, the simulation of formability of the adjuster bracket by Autoform 7.0, the calculation of punching pressure, the layout design and a set of eight-station progressive die designs. This design bears certain guiding significance for the forming of the same type of products.
