Abstract
In the infrastructure construction stage, the State Grid Corporation of China independently created a power grid information model (GIM) that can be expanded by the construction of coping projects. In the operation inspection stage, laser point clouds are mainly used. It is because the mode of infrastructure and operation inspection is not unified, and the objects of concern in the infrastructure and operation inspection stages are not unified, which makes it difficult to transfer infrastructure to operation inspection and mold application in terms of technology and management. In this paper, the local update strategy and method of 3D model between the two levels of infrastructure construction and operation inspection are studied. The contents that need to be updated from the GIM model to the point cloud model and the update method steps are elaborated. The matching of the infrastructure model and the operation inspection model has been preliminarily realized.
