Abstract
since the issuance of the ninth document in 2015, China's electricity market construction has achieved remarkable results after seven years. Meanwhile, driven by the national strategies of carbon peaking and carbon neutral, the construction of carbon capture and utilization and storage technology and carbon market in China is also vigorously promoted. In order to analyse the impact of carbon emissions and carbon capture technologies on the electricity market, this paper constructs an optimal clearing model for the electricity market considering the operational constraints of carbon capture units and carbon emission transmission and storage constraints, which can then carry out quantitative analysis of the operation of the electricity market under carbon emission constraints and provide decision support for the effective connection between the carbon market and the electricity market in the future. The combined IEEE 118-node power system and 14-node carbon grid system validate the effectiveness of the proposed model.
