The on-load tap-changer (OLTC) is a crucial component of an on-load voltage regulator transformer, and accurate detection of OLTC performance plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and stable operation of power systems. In order to meet the demand for displaying monitoring results of OLTCs, research is conducted on the interface design of the online monitoring system for OLTCs. The objective of this study is to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface that enables power system operators and maintenance personnel to effectively monitor OLTCs. For designing the interface of the online monitoring system, user requirements are analyzed based on principles of human-computer interface design, resulting in different functional areas within the interface that fulfill real-time, intuitive, and easy-to-use requirements for OLTC online monitoring. In the section dedicated to implementing the interface, a detailed description is provided regarding its design scheme along with a comprehensive layout display. This interface has the capability to monitor and display real-time operating status information about OLTCs, allowing operational staff and maintenance personnel to visualize their current state.
