Abstract
Data acquisition and processing of existing buildings are the foundation for virtual reconstruction. However, due to the complexity and diversity of existing buildings, data acquisition and processing often face certain difficulties. In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of virtual reconstruction of existing building restoration, the application of 3D laser scanning technology in virtual reconstruction of existing building restoration was studied. Using 3D laser scanning technology to extract point cloud data from existing building images, and using Laplace filtering algorithm to filter and process point cloud data from existing building images. On this basis, virtual reconstruction of existing building restoration is achieved by integrating the pixel translation vector of existing building images, the optimal rotation matrix of point cloud data, and the similarity transformation scaling factor. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively achieve virtual reconstruction of existing building restoration, has good virtual reconstruction effect of existing building restoration, and can effectively improve the efficiency of virtual reconstruction of existing building restoration.
