Abstract

Zn-Sn-P nanoparticle materials were synthesized by a simple and green low-temperature phosphating method, and sodium-ion batteries were assembled with Zn-Sn-P materials as the anode, as well as the performance of the sodium-ion batteries were investigated. The outcomes showed that the sodium-ion battery with Zn-Sn-P material serving as the anode demonstrated a 99% Coulombic efficiency (C.E.) and a high specific capacity of 652.4 mAh g^-1 after 700 charge-discharge cycles. The results showed that the nanoparticle morphology of the material effectively alleviated the volume change throughout the process of charge/discharge, which was conducive to the improvement of the interfacial stability of the material. Meanwhile, the phosphide process also offers more active websites for Na⁺ embedding and synergistically enhances the storage of Na⁺, which improves electrochemical performance.
