Abstract
Artificial Intelligence(AI), esp. knowledge-based system(KBS) has been applied to maintenance and diagnosis of electric equipment extensively . Modern intelligent diagnosis system (IDS) is required to perform test and diagnosis tasks in real time under the condition of host system being running on dynamically, which gives a great challenge to the construction of such system. The performance required in constructing IDSs are firstly introduced in this paper, and then a method of realizing two-layer multi-agent architecture for a real-time intelligent diagnosis system -- RIDE, which takes an aerospace electric equipment as host system,is discussed in detail.
