Abstract
Image blur due to handshake is a significant problem for cell-phone cameras. A set of new handshake characteristics are established using a high-frame-rate image capture and processing system. Based on these newly established handshake characteristics, an efficient, effective and inexpensive method for minimizing image blur due to handshake is proposed. The results of applying the proposed method under different scene conditions are presented.
