Abstract
Closed box structure is usually adopted in traditional reinforced server. Once fault appears, the managers need to power off the chassis and fix it up, which brings up some troubles of system maintenance. This paper introduces a design scheme of embedded intelligent management system based on ARM and FPGA for reinforced server. The server remote management is realized by chassis management module and IPMC module. The experimental result shows that the designed intelligent management system can improve system management efficiency, reduce maintenance cost and enhance server maintainability and stability.
