Dr. Ahmed A. Bahrani received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Medical Engineering, University of Nahrain, Iraq, 2003, 2006 respectively, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, University of Kentucky, 2020.
Since 2007, he has been a faculty at the Department of Biomedical Engineering/ University of Baghdad, Iraq. He also worked for Philips Medical systems representative in Iraq as Chief of Logistics and Senior Sales Engineer.
Currently, Ahmed is a researcher at the College of Medicine/University of Kentucky. Dr. Bahrani's research interest includes developing MRI-neuroimaging analytical protocols to study cerebrovascular diseases in elderly subjects and developing the technology of quantifying and analysis of cerebral blood flow using near-infrared diffuse correlation spectroscopy. He has publications in the field of biomedical imaging. He is a reviewer of several quality journals for big publishers.
