Brian Walton is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. His research focus is on developing point-of-care optical biosensors for diagnostic application using Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy. He has presented his research at SPIE and has been recognized by BMES with an Innovation and Career Development Award. He is an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellow. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Florida A&M University.
