Paul Hightower is President, CEO of Instrumentation Technology Systems (ITS) of Northridge California. ITS has been in the military and security market delivering timing and video insertion products for more than 35 years. The company, under Mr. Hightower's leadership has researched and developed a new HD-SDI video insertion engine that was designed from the ground up to meet the needs of its market.
Before purchasing his stake in ITS in 2006, Paul has been President of TIMA Power Systems, COO of ISC Electronics Systems, COO of Genisco Systems, COO of AI Business Technologies, Business Unit Manager at Datametrics, Director of Marketing at Severe Environment Systems Company (SESCO) a division of Titan, Director of Engineering at Micropolis and other Engineering roles at Ocean Technology Systems, Litton Guidance and Control, Kearfott and Allied Signal.
Paul led his first technical design in imaging while developing high speed color printers for Datametrics starting in 1990. In those projects he developed expertise in image sampling and color space conversion.
Mr. Hightower has presented technical papers at the International Telemetry Conferences in 2011 and 2013 and has given several seminars on the subject of HD-SDI video.
He is currently a member of SMPTE, SPIE and is an active participant on LinkedIn.
