Profile Summary

Hydrothermal synthesis of one-dimensional TiO2 nanomaterials (nanorods and nanotubes). These TiO2 semiconducting nanomaterials dilutely doped with transition metal ions have significant applications in the fields of spintronics and advanced magneto-optics devices. The electrochemical lithium ion intercalation/de-intercalation performances of nanostructured TiO2(B) are investigated by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic discharge–charge cycling. The structural and morphological characterization of these oxides were done by XRD pattern, FESEM, TEM and HRTEM images, SAED pattern, FTIR, and XPS studies.
